Part-Time Sales and Clerical Assistant
Cameo Engraving is part of The Trophy & Print Shop group, with shops in both York and Norton, Malton. We are the largest specialist trophy retailer in North Yorkshire, selling directly to the local area from our long established shops and also nationally through our websites.
We are looking for someone to join the friendly Cameo team. We now have a part-time vacancy based at our York shop, initially for an average of 22 hours per week (includes alternate Saturdays mornings). There may also be the possibility of extra hours to provide holiday cover and there is a real chance that this could lead to a full-time position in time for the right candidate.

The role involves working in a team and dealing with customers, advising and guiding them through the ordering process, so a friendly manner, good communication skills and a keen eye for detail are essential.
As you can probably imagine, there’s a lot going on all of the time. With that in mind, you’ll need a really positive, can-do attitude and the enthusiasm to pitch in and help out wherever you’re needed.
With stock coming in and out there will be lifting and handling involved too - so you'll need to be comfortable with that if you decide to apply.
Applicants must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy and flexible.
Good IT skills are required and a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Coreldraw would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
Please apply in writing with your CV by post to Alan Rudgard at The Trophy & Print Shop at the address below, or by hand at Cameo Engraving.
